Permeable Systems

Permeable systems are permeable articulating concrete blocks that create a performance pavement. Permeable systems' arched blocks create optimal stormwater capacity and the system's ability to filter out suspended solids to recharge local groundwater makes permeable systems the ideal BMP solution.

A permeable system is an ideal solution for parking lots, alleys, intersections and other high traffic areas. To fit any application, permeable systems may be installed using different methods. From hand placing blocks on smaller jobs to machine laying or laying blocks as mattresses on larger jobs, permeable system installation is adaptable to ensure efficiency.

The blocks are placed to fit together and joints are left open with 1/4" of space to be well within ADA requirements. Once the blocks are in place, a permeable system's open joints and aggregate-free design allow for minimal maintenance while continuing to provide superior stormwater flow.
