Vapor Barrier

Vapor barriers help reduce the penetration of moisture and water vapor through a slab into a structure, thereby helping to reduce fungus, mildew, and mold growth. Vapor barriers also help reduce radon gas from entering a structure. These barriers prevent uncontrolled moisture from entering a slab allowing the slab to maintain the maximum slab moisture emission rate and relative humidity level as allowed by flooring manufacturer’s specifications. 

Vapor barriers are tough enough to withstand normal construction jobsite conditions and traffic and will not crack, puncture, snag, split, or tear easily.

Our vapor barriers are available in 10 mil and 15 mil thicknesses. The 10ml is 14'x210' and the 15ml is 14'x140'.
